FIRST EDITION, containing all of Holmes' points but one: page 225 is not misnnumbered. This book was originally attributed by T.M. Hocken to John Ledyard, but Judge F.W. Howay proved that the actual author was John Rickman who was transferred from the Discovery to the Resolution. The account predates the authorized account of the third voyage by more than two years.
