In the Louis XVI Style, Circa 1885
Surmounted by a gadrooned urn, flanked to each side by a finial, the rectangular case centred by a circular white enamel dial signed SF14 J. HOWELL & CO PARIS, the twin-train movement numbered 10650 1515 and signed J. HOWELL & CO PARIS above a frieze with playing putti, the rounded sides each with a plaque depicting birds, the back stamped 9711 9, on a shaped stepped plinth with acanthus frieze, on four toupie feet
