A French gilt-bronze and blue-ground porcelain clock garniture
Circa 1875
Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of six-light candelabra; the mantel clock as two putti on a chariot drawn by two goats, the wheel as a dial, signed LAHOCHE A PARIS, the twin-train movement striking on a bell, inscribed Lahoche Paris 61 / JAPY FRERES MEDAILLES D'OR ANNEES 1823-27-34-39-44-49, on an oval naturalistic base, above a plinth decorated with playing cherubs en camailleux, on an acanthus spreading socle, centred to the front and back by a foliate apron, a foliate foot to each side; the candelabra en suite

The candelabra: 22¼ in. (56.5 cm.) high
