The hinged top centred by a glazed panel within a lacquer frieze, the interior with blue silk lining, above a frieze depicting pagodas in landscapes, boats and birds, the underside stamped twice A. BEURDELEY A PARIS, on four octagonal flutted tapering legs, on cast sabots
