decorated in hiramakie, takamakie and nashiji with roundels of mon, pine, flowering and blossoming branches -- 7in. (18.5cms) wide; and a further black and gold lacquer box modelled as a pillow, with sliding drawer to the side and reticulated panels, decorated with blossoming branches and foliate roundels -- 9in. (23.5cms) wide, 19th century. (2)
