the set of fifty-two numbered lithographs in colors, the numbered title and dedication pages, table of contents, colophon page and the initialled, dated and numbered cover sheet, on laid handmade paper, watermarks Terry Southern and Rivers, signed by both artists and dated '68-77' in pencil, the cover sheet inscribed 'For Nile and for Gwynne and Emma', all inscribed with the page numbers in lavender pencil, copy XI of XXXV (there were also 6 artist's proofs), the full sheets, loose, with the ULAE blindstamps, pale time staining, otherwise in very good condition, original green laquered wood box with hand-blown glass inset (scuffed). 525 x 602 x 128mm. the set (52)
