Of serpentine rectangular form, the hinged cover with inlaid gilt-heightened mother-of-pearl and painted floral spray, further painted and gilt-heightened decoration to the sides, with spreading base, the interior with fitted covers with mother-of-pearl handles -- 7½ x 5 x 4¾in. (19 x 12.7 x 12.1cm.)
