In the Empire style, the superstructure with pierced three quarter brass trellis gallery and marble top (cracked and repaired), on fluted columns with mirror back, having a moulded brass edge and top above a panelled frieze drawer enclosing a leather lined writing surface with compartments, on fluted column supports joined by a concave undertier terminating in toupee feet
