The table relates to the French style work of S. Jamar French cabinet maker of Wardour Street, who in 1818 advertised a range of furniture equal to any made in Paris. Between 1819-1826 he was trading in Gerrard Street, Soho and described himself as 'Cabinet Maker to Louis Bonaparte, King of Holland'.
