A French gilt bronze striking mantel clock and garniture, circa 1880

The case modelled as a swag-hung urn surmounted by a figure of Cupid, supported from the sides by classical maidens, on stepped breakfront base with beaded mount, with female profile relief to the front and on toupie feet cast with a Greek key design, the white enamel Roman dial with Arabic five minutes and pierced gilt hands, retailer's signature ELKINGTON & CO, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell (lacking);

And a pair of seven-light candelabra en suite, the branches in three registers and strung with beads, issuing from baluster urns cast with amorini, on side fluted socles and waisted bases
