Lot Essay

The Harmony range was introduced by Eric Slater in 1932 in an attempt to boost the falling sales of plainer banded ware. Slater's running bands of colour were both bold and bright whilst complimenting most interior designs. Similar running glazes were experimented with by Clarice Cliff in her Delecia range.
