A Bow Kakiemon pistol-shaped knife handle
moulded with flowerheads wihtin trellis pattern sections, with a leaf scroll terminal, painted and gilt with scattered sprigs of flowers, circa 1750 (fritting and wear), the handle -- 12.5cm. long; a similar smaller knife handle (damages) -- 10cm. long and a fork handle moulded with swags of flowers and scrolling leaves and painted in a similar style (damages and repair) -- 8.5cm. longSee back cover illustration (3)
