A Beijing yellow and brown overlay glass snuff bottle
carved in relief with a scholar beside three geese and a bat in flight in a garden of rockwork and plantain -- 2½in. (6.4cm.) high; a blue overlay tapering bottle, carved with a crane and stag beneath prunus and pine -- 2¾in. (7cm.) high; a further bottle with carp leaping from foaming waves amongst lotus -- 3in. (7.6cm.) high; and a red overlay bottle with two fish on a pink opaque ground -- 2in. (5cm.) high, two with stoppers, all 19th Century. (4)
