The fleeing disciple with Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane in the background

The subject is taken from Amos II:16 where is related how after Christ's capture the most courageous disciple was fleeing from the site.
This scene is rarely depicted. One of the most known renderings of it is by Antonio Allegri, called Correggio, circa 1520/5 in the Galleria Nazionale, Parma (D. Ekserdjian, Correggio, 1997, p.166, fig.187).
