Of cylindrical form with shell scroll handles, the cover with foliate loop finial, painted in colours with scattered roses, the rim of the pail and cover with similar flowers within gilt cartouches reserved on the blue and gilt oeil-de-perdrix ground (pail cracked and restored, surface scratching, restored rim chips to flange of cover, minor wear to gilding)--10in. (25.4cm.) high; together with a sauce-tureen, cover and stand and another sauce-tureen en suite, both tureens with crowned D marks (basin of one cracked, surface of stand scratched and gilt line edge worn)--8 7/8in.
