Lot Essay

In 1931, Langeweg read a funny article in the newspaper about twelve angry widows in the English town of Plymton. They had all been invited to a mariage-broker but just received the message that the bride groom was not available anymore. He had got engaged to someone else the night before. This made them so furious that they turned the office of the mariage-broker upside down.
