The silvered dial signed and numbered James Pitkin & Co. Ltd. London. No.8091, with Roman numeral numbers, subsidary seconds and up-and-down dial, blued steel hands, brass casement with a gold patina and mounted on brass gimbals also with a gold patina mounted in a modern dual lid mahogany box. The box is brass bound with inset lock, flat brass handles and gimbal lock.
8¼ x 8¼ x 9 in. (21 x 21 x 22.8 cm.) boxed dimesions.
