A Travel Agents Model Of The S.S Statendam

The formed metal hull is painted grey with white above the sheer line and through the cabin and deck structures. The decks of the model, which are also of metal, are painted black and tan. The windows and port holes along the topsides and the outer structures are all cut. Other details on the model include: anchors, bollards, ventilators, cargo cranes, bridge and bridge wings, life boats on davits, funnel painted in Holland America Lines livery, benches among other details. The model is in waterline format and displayed on a green painted sea. The model retains the original base to the case which is of pine and inscribed on either side with the ship's details.
45½ x 9¾ x 12 in. (115.6 x 24.8 x 30.5 cm.), model on base.
