The model, set in a molded and painted sea, with black painted topsides and painted white above the sheer line. The model is well detailed, including various deck elevations, deck structures, cabins, bridge and bridge wings. The decks are of scored veneer which has been left a natural pine color. Other details include: anchors, anchor davit, bollards, ladders, deck railings, masts, cargo booms, cargo hatches, ventilators, lifeboats on davits, docking bridge, canopy frames, skylights and numerous other details. The model is done to exhibition standards and is displayed in a glass display case with brass edges and a pine base.
