The U.S.S. Agememnon was launched as the S.S. Kaiser Wilhem II in August 1902. In June 1906 she won the Blue Riband trophy away from the S.S. Deutschland. In 1914 she was interned in New York as the United States entered WWI. In April 1917 she was seized by the US Navy and renamed Agamemnon. She was was used to convoy troops back from Europe after the war. She was broken up by the Boston Iron and Metal Co. in 1940. Her principal dimensions were: LOA: 707ft; Beam: 72.3ft; 19,361 gross tonnage.
She is shown with returning troops from W. W. I.
