carved throughout with shells, acanthus and foliate scrolls, the friezes adorned with cherub masks and the desk top with a chequer band of mother-of-pearl with five drawers to each side on pierced beaded spiral carved supports and with platform bases and turned feet -- 46½.in. (118cm.)
