This prototype pulled the Royal Train from the depot at Batignolles to Bois de Boulogne Station, carrying the King and Queen of England on a State visit to France in 1938. The locomotive could not be turned for the return journey, so another 2-3-1C was quickly streamlined; subsequently the casing was removed.
The model is unique.
