the rectangular top above a tambour slide enclosing pigeon holes and leather lined writing surface above three frieze drawers between gilt foliate mounts and two writing slides with a pair of forward sliding swivelling cupboards below between scrolled uprights opening to reveal compartmentalised interiors and four drawers raised in a reverse breakfront plinth base, with metal label, SOENNECKEN, BERLIN, BONN LEIPZIG the lock stamped J T NEEDS, LATE J BRAMAH -- 63in.
