An oak livery cupboard, English, early 17th century
with a moulded top and a whirl filled guilloche frieze, raised on turned column supports, with a pair of panelled doors profusely carved with similar whirl filled guilloche and flanking a lozenge filled arcaded central panel, above a foliate lunette carved cushion moulded frieze with a drawer, on turned column and block legs joined by channelled square section stretchers, the front stretcher with fret carved detail, side panels and top back edge replaced, formerly with a superstructure -- 49in.
