An oak panelled press cupboard, probably West Country, 17th century
the upper section with a central panel flanked by panelled doors, all carved with a quatrefoil stylised foliate motif, below an overhanging frieze carved with whirls, lozenges and fretwork, bearing the date 1618 and with drop pendant finials, the lower section with lunette frieze and guilloche upright flanked by a pair of triple panel doors and with two further panels below, on channelled stile feet, parts later -- 53in. (135cm.) wide, 68in. (173cm.) high, 19in. (48cm.) deep
