A Staffordshire bone china Crimean commemorative mug
printed in black and painted in colours with a scene from the battle of Inkermann, titled SERGEANT THOMAS DEFENDING THE COLOURS AT INKERMANN, gilt line rims, circa 1854 (small hairline crack) -- 10.5cm. high; a pearlware loving cup printed in blue with Oriental landscape scenes, circa 1820 (cracked) -- 15cm. high; a spaniel jug, modelled seated on its haunches and painted with iron-red patches, mid 19th century (restored spout) -- 19cm. high; and a pair of begging spaniel jugs, painted with iron-red patches and gilt-collars, circa 1900 (restored, flaking enamels) -- 23cm. high
