A walnut and burr-walnut writing desk, early 20th century
in the mid 18th century style, the rectangular feather and crossbanded top with inlaid burr panels and a moulded edge above three further inlaid frieze drawers and two drawers around an arched recess to either side, on boldly carved foliate and shell-capped cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet, some losses -- 68in. (173cm.) wide
