A large Chinese export mother of pearl inlaid wood cabinet
with scroll terminals and feet flanking pierced fretwork and a foliate apron, the central panel carved and decorated with figures in the pine-strewn garden of a pavilion within border panels of further figures in rocky, tree-strewn landscapes, all within bands of trailing flowers and foliage, one hinged door to either end -- 56in. (142.2cms) high x 56½in. (143.5cms), 20th century, (some minor damage and old wear).
