Late 17th/18th Century
Of generously proportioned, austerely designed rectangular form, its platform with soft matting within a thick high frame separated by a narrow waist from the square-section legs joined by a plain beaded apron continuing from the C-curves of the legs, the three railings bridging the four corner posts with two open rounded rectangular panels on the short sides and three similar panels on the back, the conforming frieze with lozenge-shaped apertures below the canopy frame enclosing four solid panels, each formed by several joined planks
