The exterior finely carved with figures in a landscape, including two scholars and an attendant standing on one side of a bridge, with a farmer and a water buffalo on the other side, a boy playing a flute riding atop a water buffalo followed by its calf, and a man seated in a pavilion, all surrounded by various trees and reserved on diaper grounds, the concave base carved with a chilong grasping a lingzhi sprig against a diaper ground, the interior lacquered black
