Rudolf von Alt malte dieses Thema mehrere Male 1873 und 1875. Eine ähnliche Version mit einem Priester hinter dem Brunnen sitzend, befindet sich in der Albertina, Wien.

Rudolf von Alt depicted this subject several times in 1873 and 1875. A similar version with the Priest seated behind the fountain is in the Albertina, Vienna.
