Horemans used the right hand figure of the girl selling produce in several of his signed compositions including A market scene with ladies buying mussels (sale, Christie's, London, Nov. 16, 1973, lot 28), and A cake seller (sale, Sotheby's, London, Feb. 18, 1987, lot 55).
