A Neolithic globular pottery storage jar
with flaring neck and twin lug handles, painted in black pigments with a broad band of linear design beneath chevrons to the neck -- 10.5/8in. (27cms) high, (old wear and some restoration to neck); and a further Neolithic jar decorated in red and black pigments with hatch pattern roundels -- 11in. (28cms) high, (4cm. wide section chipped off neck, pigments repainted, old wear).
