AN ORMOLU-MOUNTED SÈVRES STYLE COBALT-BLUE GROUND THREE-PIECE GARNITURE
Late 19th century, all with spurious blue interlaced L's marks and signed L. Moreau
The vases with pinecone finials and waisted domed covers, the necks with a pierced gallery of rinceaux joined by winged female herm handles tapering to foliage, the fronts painted with scenes after Boucher within elaborate gilt surrounds and houses in river landscapes on the reverse, with conforming domed socles and ormolu bases with columnar bracket feet
