Iron-red mark for 1883, green lozenge mark for 1881 and incised AD 81-2, signed F Mérigot
Each painted in the Art Nouveau taste with underglaze blue winding nasturtium vine, the delicate pendant blossoms painted in iron-red and yellow enamels and gilt with a single butterfly, the neck and foot with stylized cobalt blue egg-and-dart pattern enriched in gilt

Lot Essay
