The shaped brèche marble top above bombé sides inlaid with a foliate marquetry, the front with a door, the crimson velvet-lined interior with a pair of shelves, the angles with acanthus and frond-cast clasps, one inscribed F. Linke, on square tapering legs and scrolled feet
