Of rectangular architectural form, with bevelled glazed front, back and sides, the pediment cast with winged hippocampi, foliage and piping putti, supported on square fluted columns, the green and white enamel dial cast to the centre with figures of Cupid and Psyche, inscribed [....]PATTERSON COMPANY/FRANCE, with piping angels below, the twin-train movement by Vincenti & Cie, with engine-turned pendulum, the breakfront base cast with griffins and anthemia
