The circular scalloped faceted tazza supported on a twin mask-handled urn mounted with a pair of helmeted winged putto busts, on a spreading scrolled foot twice engraved with the date 5th November 1889, on a shaped base mounted with two maidens emblematic of War and Peace and with a further helmeted putto bust to each end, the sides each centred by an Apollo mask, on orb and lion-paw feet, the figure of War stamped J O to the robes
