Of kidney shape, the arched superstructure centred by ribbon-tied laurel sprays above a clock, with a pair of large and a pair of small drawers below, flanked to each side by a twin-branch floral candelabrum, the lower section with three frieze drawers, on square tapering floral festooned legs and laurel-cast feet, the reverse of the locks stamped DUVIVIER/76 Fg St Antoine/Paris
