A Collection of thirty facsimile American Indian and Canadian Indian Peace Medals (30), probably 19th century, thirty pieces in all, including two Washington Oval Medals, 1792 and 1794, crudely made shell medals of Washington and Jefferson, a copper Washington medal with reverse engraved "N.W. Fur Co.", a George II "Quaker and Indian" 1757 medal, two curious engraved silver medals both with city views of Montreal, and twenty-two struck medals for 19th century Presidents, apparently manufactured by piercing and silvering official bronze mint medals, including John Adams, Jefferson (2), Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Van Buren (2), Tyler, Polk (2), Pierce (2), Buchanan (2), Lincoln (2), Johnson (2), Grant, Hayes (2), Cleveland, generally in very fine condition (30)
