19TH CENTURY, ENTWINED S MARK FORMING A LOZENGE AND ENCLOSING THE LETTER S IN IMITATION OF THE SEVRES INTERLACED L'S MARK

Decoration similar to that on the present large cooler is usually found on Sèvres tea and coffee wares of the mid 18th century.
