Two faon de Venise vases and two covers
Early 16th Century, the covers mid 16th Century, Venice
Both with cup-shaped bowls, one applied with two trailed blue filigree threads, the other with one blue and one clear thread, above radially moulded ribs, supported on dark-blue ribbed knops above ribbed conical feet with upturned folded blue rims, the honeycomb-moulded domed covers with knop finials enriched in gilding (gilding rubbed)
