Two faon de Venise vases and two covers
Early 16th Century, the covers mid 16th Century, Venice
Of similar type to the preceding lots, one bowl with two pale-blue applied threads supported on a clear ribbed knop above a radially ribbed foot with upturned folded pale-blue rim, the other with two dark-blue applied threads to the bowl and supported on a clear ribbed knop above a dark-blue foot with upturned folded rim, the honeycomb- moulded covers with knob finials enriched in gilding (the first with chip to underside of footrim)
