A faon de Venise tazza
Second half of the 16th Century, Hall-in-Tyrol (probably Glasshouse of Sebastian Höchstetter)
The flared octafoil bowl moulded with a concentric double ring and supported on a flattened knop moulded with 'nipt diamond waies' enriched with gilding set between two mereses, above a spreading conical folded foot
6¾ in. (17 cm.) diam.
