A faon de Venise winged coin-goblet
Early 18th Century, perhaps Venice
The wide funnel bowl supported on a hollow knop containing a half Guillio(grosso) of Pisa dated 1714 above a merese, the stem with a collar above an inverted baluster section applied with opposing turquoise scrolls with clear pincered ornament alternating with moulded lion's mask panels, on a conical folded foot (one pincered flange a replacement)
