A Venetian latticinio standing bowl
Late 16th Century
In vetro a retorti, the deep bowl with a central motif of radiating gauze and threads pinched to form 'nipt diamond waies' beneath two bands of a retorti gauze, the slender multi-knopped stem set between clear mereses above a conical folded foot
8¼ in. (21 cm.) high, 8½ in. (21.5 cm.) diam.
