Two Venetian coin-beakers
Circa 1760
The first of flared shaped form, the base including a silver oselle of Doge Francesco Lauredan (1752-1762) dated 1758, with applied blue filigree rim and footrim (section of footrim lacking); the second of flared form with gilt rim, engraved with a flaming heart beneath a coronet within a crowned, hatched and foliage-scroll cartouche, the reverse with the initials A.Z within a scroll cartouche, the base set with a Murano silver oselle of Doge Francesco Lauredan dated 1761 (crizzelled)
