A Venetian small jug
Late 17th/early 18th Century
The conical body applied with three lion's masks enriched in gilding alternating with four turquoise prunts on a band of trailed thread and above spiked gadroons, the turquoise scroll handle with clear pincered ornament, the flared neck with a vermicular collar and two applied trailed turquoise threads enclosing a gilt band, the ribbed curved spout with turquoise rim (chip to one mask)
4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high
