A German engraved goblet
possibly Saxon, the thistle-shaped bowl engraved and polished with a bust portrait of a woman with heart-shaped cartouche, between two putti, surmounted with a vase issuing flowers above lambrequins apron suspending swags of flowers, supported on a faceted knop and ring sections above a tapering pedestal stem and enclosing an elongated tear, on conical foot, 18th century (scratching to interior of bowl) -- 26cm. high
