A French gilt-bronze and champlevé enamel striking mantel clock, last quarter 19th century
The case with waisted pediment flanked by four gadrooned vase finials and with an urn surmount supported on winged and leopard-headed monopodiae, glazed side panels, on scroll sided base with foliate cast mounts to the angles and on paw feet, mounted to the front with the figure of an amorino, the backplate decorated in polychrome enamels, with pale blue painted Roman chapter ring and champlevé enamel centre, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell; with enamel decorated pendulum -- 26¼in. (66.5cm.) high
